Trimix CCR course
As most of you know I am a diver since 1998. That year I was invited to come along to Cancun, Mexico with my former girlfriend. I already knew diving in Mexico is very beautiful, so I decided to get a diving license before going there. I started my SSI Open Water Diver course in February 1998 with Holland Diving in Rotterdam.
The last few years I have been diving a lot in the Netherlands. Starting with diving in the Oostvoornse Meer, the Grevelingen Meer, the Oosterschelde and nowadays mostly in the North Sea searching for old shipwrecks. Also I have visited a few countries to dive, Germany, England, Austria, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Turkey, Egypt, Ecuador, Thailand and Indonesia.
Pterois Coaching & Consultancy
A dream has come true… I am owner of my own company, Pterois Coaching & Consultancy is finally alive. At this moment I am working hard to get everything in order. Registration at the chamber of commerce in Rotterdam, create a business style, build a website, administration and lots more….
I love the feeling of being an entrepreneur… but now comes the hard part getting a paid assignment. I am confident I will find something of my interest.
Marriage
Our marriage last September was one of our best days in life until now. We have so many photos of this special day and we are still sorting them all out.

Diving time
Tomorrow, weather permitting off course, it’s diving time again. Together with some divers from “Stichting Koe” we are going to make two wreckdives on the North Sea.
At this moment the weather seems to be in our favour… so let’s hope for some good visibility. Which wrecks we are going to dive is not sure at this moment. As soon as we know more, we will update this post.
Update:
We made a really nice dive on the Tubantia. It was great… nice waves, enough wind and the visibility was around 2 meter… a few goodies came up, but nothing special.
Dolphins
Last Friday we got married and one of our wedding gifts was a visit to the Dolfinarium Harderwijk to have a close encounter with a dolphin. Yesterday we went to Harderwijk and we had a lovely day, the weather was good, not too crowded and the dolphins… well look for yourself (bigger picture if you click on the photo).
